Your Home On The Road

More and more, people of all generations -- from millennials to baby boomers -- are taking a break from conventional life for the freedom, tranquility, and adventure of being on the road and living in a converted vintage truck, camper, or van.

One of these van-dwellers, Foster Huntington, created the #vanlife hashtag as he chronicled his adventures of living in a van and driving it across the country. He tapped into a community of like-minded individuals looking to explore nature at their own pace and live a debt-free lifestyle.

Also included are informative and topical interviews with solo travelers, couples, and families who are living this new American dream - and ready to inspire you to do the same!

Just what my daughter wanted

I surprised my daughter with this beautiful book for Christmas. She is looking into renovating a van and living a year of bliss traveling the US in it. After many searches she has not found a hard cover book such as this one. It is coffee table gorgeous! Great images and great info. She will love it for years to come.

A Fun Gift for Van Lovers

Bought Van Life as a gift for my girlfriend. It is fun to look through the book and dream about a van for ourselves! Customer service was excellent with Trek Light Gear like always. The book itself is very sleek and I am pleased with my purchase. Book is full of photos and includes some short stories from van owners. Many of the photos are of vans and the surrounding areas. While some photos were shots from inside the vans. . . I was hoping to see more van layouts and designs. Overall, satisfied with the purchase.
