After some quick and questionable research, we've learned that it's currently illegal to marry your backpack in at least 45 states in the US.
Which is unfortunate, because you're gonna love this thing.
The Bindle Pack™ is an incredible ultralight, ultra strong daypack offering plenty of room for everything you need for a day's adventure, including your hammock and all needed accessories.
While it's an ideal pack for a day hike on the trail, this extremely versatile backpack is designed for every day use. It's perfect for traveling, commuting to work, grocery shopping, cycling, music festivals and much more.
The best part? Just like our hammocks, the Bindle stuffs into its own tiny 3.5oz pouch you can fit in your pocket. It's okay to fall in love.
What happens when a lightweight lifestyle pioneer like Trek Light Gear decides to make an ultralight backpack? This.
Using the very same parachute nylon material that helped us revolutionize the hammock world, we created a daypack that forced the entire backpack industry to think twice when they use the words like 'lightweight' and 'travel-sized'.
Every single time one of our Bindle Backpacks is purchased, Trek Light Gear will deliver one child/student around the world with a full set of desperately needed school supplies thanks to our partnership with Be The Change Volunteers.
Pencils, Notebooks and Folders. It's a one-for-one model - for less than $35 you get an incredible backpack and a child in need gets the gift of a better future, it's that simple.
The Bindle Pack is the ideal travel companion, bring it along in your suitcase and you've got the perfect walking around bag to use on your trip. It's also an ideal small carry-on for your next flight - it fits under the seat, so keep it handy in case you need to check your main carry-on at the last minute.
Whether you ride your bike to work, hit the gym after work, find yourself looking for the perfect little beach bag or you just need something to carry your things around your next concert or music festival - the Bindle Pack is your new favorite everyday companion.
I don't remember how may years ago that I purchased this, but I think it was the first year that it was introduced as a new product they designed to use the leftover material from the manufacture of the hammocks. I've used it extensively for travel, as a camera bag, gym bag, grocery bag, day hike bag. The only change over these years that I can see is a very slight fraying and fading of the Trek Light label! Otherwise not a stitch has pulled or any signs of wear. I carry this with me at all times in my bigger backpack since it is so light and versatile. I've gotten my money's worth years ago and I expect to have this for years to come. I highly recommend it!
Love this little backpack! It’s small and light but very sturdy and holds a lot. My husband and I have each had one for several years and use them often, especially for the gym, hiking, or traveling. Just bought another for my sister to take on her upcoming trip to France. Makes a great gift for anyone.
Lite awesome ever leave home without it
We were in Colorado a few years ago visiting our son and took a day trip to Boulder. While there I bought a dark green Bindle Daypack from your stall. I used it so much that the following year when we were back in Boulder I bought three more as gifts. I recently bought two more for holiday gifts because it is a versatile product and I want everyone I know to pack it and go. It is so lightweight that I can carry two bottles of water without feeling weighted down and large enough to hold a coat on a cold day when visiting museums. Mine has seen much of the country and in it's pouch it's easy to carry till needed. I won't travel without it. Thanks for such a great product.
What a fantastic backpack!
Lightweight and easy to pack in my main luggage; it carried a surprisingly large load and was comfortable to use throughout the heat of a Southern Spanish summer. It’s certainly durable, having carried all of the stuff needed to entertain two small children, plus the added weight of a lot of water.
5 stars! Would give more if I could!
