I know this company has gone through changes over the years, the banana hammock is a nice hammock to start with. Buy it you won't regret it!!!!! I will say before changes in ownership the hammocks were made with maybe a different material and were maybe different dimensions than the new version. Both are great just the old model haid a leg up on this newest version maybe the two tone are more like the old one-_(0.o)_-

I purchased my first Trek Light hammock in 2009 and it changed my life! Been a loyal fan ever since. I lost my trusty Trek Light on a recent camping trip and purchased a double banana hammock to replace it. Same amazing quality and comfort. Nowadays all of the big companies make nylon hammocks but Trek Light was one of the first and still the best. The hammock material is great, and it’s nice and wide! I love the bright yellow too! I’m 5’2” and my husband is 6’1” and we both love this hammock!
I am currently doing a lot of shoveling, live just south of Lake Tahoe, currently dealing with 5' snow.😳❄🌧☃️. I love the customer connection I've felt since ordering and receiving this very cool item. The STOP Hammock Time key ring makes me smile, as until this snow melts and the sun can dry things out, I am patiently waiting. I know this hammock will beat the other three I have had. I bought this as a camping tool but instead started to use it for a replacement for my bed. I have chronic lower back pain and I found this Banana Hammock amazing. Really, I had extreme doubts that sleeping in a Hammock could ever have such a positive benefit in my sleeping habits. I get to sleep faster, and I sleep harder. I been getting less sleep but I have a lot more energy then I would when I sleep in a bed.
Putting the Hammock up was quick and easy. I can put it almost anywhere. I bought two eye hooks and installed them so I have a hammock above my bed.
I now sleep in my hammock and in a regular bed. I noticed from my fitbit that I sleep a lot longer and with less movement. Over all this has been a very good investment and I plan to get a tarp and insect net for when I do go camping. I can't wait. I want to get another one because they are amazing. The XL is a must it allows for more room and it is not as bad with two people. It is diffidently a snuggle me closer hammock.
