Our Mystery Blankets are available in two tiers - the Mystery I and the Mystery II.
Here's what you can expect:
The Mystery I is a midweight blanket, typically around 4.5' x 6.5' in size and weighing around 3-4lbs.
While all details will vary, examples of the blankets you may receive include our popular midweight blanket styles, such as the Monterey Blanket, Golden Age, Blackbird, Reba Blanket and others.
The Mystery II is a heavier weight blanket, typically around 5' x 7' in size and weighing around 5-6lbs.
While all details will vary, examples of the blankets you may receive include our best-selling heavier weight blanket styles, such as the Taos Blanket, Eldorado, Durango Blanket and more.
The blanket styles mentioned above are simply some of the possibilities and an example of the quality, size, and weight to expect when you order.
All details will vary from blanket to blanket (including variances in size, weight, etc.), but rest assured that you'll receive a blanket of the same quality and craftsmanship as the comparable styles we sell on our site.
Remember, all sales are final and we can't accept returns or exchanges for Mystery Blankets. We're confident you'll love what you get, but if you're extremely picky about colors you're much better off ordering one of our standard blanket styles.
What gets shipped out always depends on what's in our mystery stock on the day you order. Each blanket in a multi-blanket order may be completely different, or you may receive multiple blankets that are all the same (or similar) color/style.
If it's essential to you that each blanket you receive is completely different, we recommend that you order from the individual styles on our site.

When I first learned about Trek Light Gear I couldn’t decide which blanket I wanted until I saw their mystery blanket option! I’m glad I went that route because it took all the guesswork out of it and honestly I love my blanket! Took it camping over the 4th of July and kept me warm through the night! Slept in a hammock for context! I’m definitely going to recommend them to my friends and family and will be ordering more when I get a chance! Also I love the Mystery Blanket option! Not knowing what you get is a bit of a thrill considering whenever you buy online you know exactly what you buy! Felt almost like Christmas as a kid getting to open up that box and see what you get. If you can’t decide what blanket you want just go ahead and try out this one!
I’d been getting ads for trek light gear on Facebook for a while and decided to splurge on one of the mystery blankets during quarantine since I was spending so much extra time at home. I got the mystery 1 and used the 10% off for signing up (so $60.30) and I’d say it was 100% worth it. I’m not sure which model of blanket I got, but the size is really great and it’s not too heavy to use during summer. It seems really sturdy and it’s quite soft for a camp blanket (which I’d been a little worried about). Can’t wait to actually take it out camping!!

We know what it's like to order something online and want to have it in your hands as quickly as possible. We ask that you allow us 1 business day to process your order and get it ready to ship, however we do everything we can to get orders out the door as soon as they come in - which means most packages ship the very same day you order.
Our shipping takes place Monday through Friday - any orders placed over the weekend or after our mail pickup will be shipped the next business day whenever possible.
We offer the ability to pre-order and back order some items on our site when they are not yet in stock. If an item you are purchasing isn't currently in stock, you'll see a note displayed in your shopping cart that indicates that the item is a pre-order.
We aren't able to split-ship your orders into multiple deliveries - so if you are ordering an item that isn't currently in stock along with other items that are, please be aware that your order won't ship until all items are in stock. If you're anxious to receive the in-stock items, we recommend placing a separate order so you can receive the in-stock items without delay.
If you choose an option like "Express (2 Business Days)", please remember that isn't a guarantee that the order will be there exactly two days from the moment you order it - we still need time to pack & ship your order (see above).

When receiving an international order your package will need to pass through Customs in your country. All of our packages will have a Customs Declaration Form which details the items in your package and their value.
PLEASE NOTE: There are almost always additional charges to receive your package when you order from outside your own country - these charges are Customs Duties and Import Taxes which are your responsibility to pay (often before you are allowed to collect the package). The laws and taxes are different in every country and Trek Light Gear has no way of knowing in advance what these taxes and fees will be. Please be aware of this when placing your order, we don't want you to be surprised when the package shows up and you owe additional money!

If for any reason you're not happy with anything you ordered from us, just send it back to us within 30 days by following the instructions below.
The product must be in unused or 'like-new' condition - you're welcome to try a product to make sure you like it, but we cannot accept returns that are abused, stained, washed/laundered, or otherwise damaged (unless the damage is the result of a manufacturer's defect, in which case it is covered under our Lifetime Warranty).
Holiday Extension: All purchases made in November or December will be allowed an extended return window thru 1/31. We'll make it easy for the gift recipient to handle any returns or exchanges!
