Trek Light Gear has been nominated in the Intuit 'Love A Local Business' Grant Contest and we need your votes! The winning small business receives a business grant that would be a massive step towards our goal of showing the world that 'Life Is Better In A Hammock'. (Not to mention letting us do a lot more fun things like hammock giveaways, contests and sales!) 
Trek Light Gear exists today because of your support, we've been lucky enough to see our products travel all over the world without ever engaging in a major advertising campaign or having our products on big chain retail shelves. We've done it because you believe in us and have always been there to tell your friends, family and perfect strangers why you love your Trek Light Gear.
The business with the most votes this month only has a little over 400 votes right now, as of this post Trek Light Gear has ~170. There's only a few days left to vote in April and it seems like a daunting task, but there are thousands of you who might be reading this, whether it’s directly through our blog or because you keep up with us on Facebook or Twitter. All it takes is two seconds of your time to cast a vote and I know that we can show the world what a small business in Boulder, CO can accomplish with the support of great people just like you. In case you’re wondering, the contest has a local theme to it but anyone can vote - the only requirement is that you love Trek Light Gear, which I trust you do if you're reading this! The monthly winners will be picked via a random drawing (each vote is an entry in the drawing) and for the Grand Prize the comments are read by judges to help them pick the business they feel deserves it most, so leave a nice note even if it's brief!
