Awesome daypack

Day Hiking Sedona and love this little pack as held essential to insure a safe solo hike. As long as straps were tight the pack stayed on back well. Packs down super small if putting in a suitcase or larger pack. Worth the price!

Great Backpack

This backpack was perfect for our trip to the national parks in Utah. It was light and held everything we needed for hiking. I highly recommend it!

So good I bought another

I bought one of these 6 years ago and literally loved it to bits. So handy to have in your bags when travelling (especially if you prefer to go cabin baggage only) as an incredibly light and compact daypack you can use any time, without needing to unpack or reorganise your existing bags. I use mine when doing short hikes in hot places, when wandering around cities while travelling, and as a luggage expander if you've been shopping and are coming home with more than you set off with ;)
After 6 years my old one needed replacing, so I bought myself and my partner one each. This revised version seems to have stronger straps, which is a useful improvement. As such a tiny and lightweight design, it obviously does not have any padding, so you need to pack it with care if carrying hard or uncomfortable objects - it's not a substitute for a bespoke daypack for more serious hiking. But it does what it set out to do brilliantly.

It keeps on coming ...

Great design. Great quality. Great production. Great customer service. Just what our local organization would like to have associated with our own urban planning efforts. Even the person who did the custom (reflective thread) embroidery thought the backpack was great.

When Seriously Good Design Meets Seriously Good Application With Seriously Healthy Fun Thrown In

We are so fortunate that our residents' initiative, undependent Rock Island, came across your backpack. It has given us an opportunity to communicate to fellow residents a seriously good community design with seriously good application here in Rock Island (IL) that includes some seriously healthy fun. And it starts when they ask us, "Where'd you get that backpack."

Zipper

My zipper keeps falling off. Is there a warranty on these or any ideas how to fix it?

Nearly indesctructible

I don't remember how may years ago that I purchased this, but I think it was the first year that it was introduced as a new product they designed to use the leftover material from the manufacture of the hammocks. I've used it extensively for travel, as a camera bag, gym bag, grocery bag, day hike bag. The only change over these years that I can see is a very slight fraying and fading of the Trek Light label! Otherwise not a stitch has pulled or any signs of wear. I carry this with me at all times in my bigger backpack since it is so light and versatile. I've gotten my money's worth years ago and I expect to have this for years to come. I highly recommend it!

Thank you for being a part of the TLG family Bob! Stories like yours are our favorite. Happy trails with your Bindle Daypack!

Bindle Daypack

I love my bindle pack - super well made, super light, perfect size for my day hikes!!! I found on google and ordered, but, until now, had no idea about your company and other products. I like to order from small companies and can’t wait to try more of your products!

Great light backpack!

I waited until I used this backpack for awhile until leaving a review to make sure that I still loved it. I do. It's awesome. I may need to buy another one for backup.

Bindle Daypack

Perfect size, extremely well made. Lightweight. It'll be the perfect daypack for my Alta Via 1 trip. Carrying a 40L backpack, but needed something light for dayhikes, the plane, our days in Venice. This is perfect!

So light I forgot I was wearing it!

This is a perfect ultra-light bag to take on a hike. I put my water bottle in the outer pouch and a few essentials inside the main part. Good price, too!

high quality comfortable small pack

Used this pack on a coastal trail day- hiking and beaches throughout the day. Held water bottle, collapsible dog bowl, beach mat, small towel, frisbee, jacket and snacks. Super comfy: didn't really even notice I was wearing it. Dried quickly and packs down small. Looking forward to taking it in my luggage on a vacation for use on day hikes.

Perfect in A Way

This is my third go round on the same backpack. That’s because I wear the fabric out with daily use over a few years time. It’s light but strong, ample but lean, and stylish on top of everything. Have yet to see or find anything better in this class.

Nice little bag, perhaps a bit small

Haven't used it much yet, but it feels pretty good. Very lightweight and the shoulder straps fit nicely. But it still seems a bit small to me. I might have waited to review once I stuffed it full, but I keep getting emails to review. But I think it's fine and will work well in many situations.

Very versatile!

Just took this bag on a trip and it was perfect! Took up little space in my luggage yet acted like a big bag when in use. Used it for a multitude of activities and is very sturdy. Highly recommend!!

So good I bought 3 more ...

I bought 2 of the Bindle packs, used one at Trail Days this year in Damascus. Put 2 50 oz bottles of water and a bunch of other stuff I needed for the day in one and walked around Trail Days all day. Very comfortable and easy to get in and out of ... I loved them so much I bought 3 more for gifts ...

A Globetrotter Must Have!

As someone that travels around the world I am always looking for gear that is reliable, useful, and meets a need. This pack is a great packable backpack that can be used for light hiking, to keep the essentials, or for a day at the beach. Its extremely compact, lightweight yet durable and when its time to put it away its easily packable.
