After some quick and questionable research, we've learned that it's currently illegal to marry your backpack in at least 45 states in the US.
Which is unfortunate, because you're gonna love this thing.
The Bindle Pack™ is an incredible ultralight, ultra strong daypack offering plenty of room for everything you need for a day's adventure, including your hammock and all needed accessories.
While it's an ideal pack for a day hike on the trail, this extremely versatile backpack is designed for every day use. It's perfect for traveling, commuting to work, grocery shopping, cycling, music festivals and much more.
The best part? Just like our hammocks, the Bindle stuffs into its own tiny 3.5oz pouch you can fit in your pocket. It's okay to fall in love.
What happens when a lightweight lifestyle pioneer like Trek Light Gear decides to make an ultralight backpack? This.
Using the very same parachute nylon material that helped us revolutionize the hammock world, we created a daypack that forced the entire backpack industry to think twice when they use the words like 'lightweight' and 'travel-sized'.
Every single time one of our Bindle Backpacks is purchased, Trek Light Gear will deliver one child/student around the world with a full set of desperately needed school supplies thanks to our partnership with Be The Change Volunteers.
Pencils, Notebooks and Folders. It's a one-for-one model - for less than $35 you get an incredible backpack and a child in need gets the gift of a better future, it's that simple.
The Bindle Pack is the ideal travel companion, bring it along in your suitcase and you've got the perfect walking around bag to use on your trip. It's also an ideal small carry-on for your next flight - it fits under the seat, so keep it handy in case you need to check your main carry-on at the last minute.
Whether you ride your bike to work, hit the gym after work, find yourself looking for the perfect little beach bag or you just need something to carry your things around your next concert or music festival - the Bindle Pack is your new favorite everyday companion.
I also saw this backpack featured in a major newspapers travel section and was intrigued by it. Decided to go online and check it out. After doing that I decided to order one. The hardest part was deciding which color combo to pick, lol. I still can't believe how small it packs up and how light it is. I also wish they had put a mesh side pocket on it for a water bottle, but not a deal breaker. All in all a very nice light weight backpack, very happy with my purchase.
Just right for day outings-especially for a senior who doesn’t want heavy baggage thanks. Saw ad in LA Times
Start to finish, easy and friendly/personal and the product always great.
I keep the Bindle pack in my carryon bag when I fly. Then anytime the airline desk agent says we all have to check our carryon bags I am able to pull out my essentials (laptop, magazine, headphones, meds, etc) and keep them with me on the plane in this little guy. The pack has been all over the USA and all over the world with me from Papua New Guinea to India, to Peru, to all over Africa! It even went with me when I was a first responder in Puerto Rico. It's about 5 years old now lot's of travel regularly for my job and it still in good shape. Zipper, straps, and seams all holding up really well. This was a very good buy.
We keep this daypack in the car to carry our waters and our snacks for those days we have errands or for road trips. When not in use, it stays folded up and hangs on a headrest. My seven year old likes to carry the day pack on the trip, so I love how far it adjusts. It can fit a lot of things in it! Perfect for day hikes and outings with my three kiddos.
