Every blanket in this bundle is woven from leftover clothing materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. First they’re broken down, then re-spun into high-quality yarn — giving new life to old fibers, and creating less waste for our planet in the process.
The leather carrier is made using 100% reclaimed leather — salvaged from leather furniture remnants that would otherwise be discarded. Instead of contributing to demand for new leather, we’re closing the loop and making something beautiful from what already exists.
Both pieces are designed to last as heirloom treasures, not end up in a landfill.

Every blanket is handwoven in Mexico on a traditional wooden pedal loom by Indigenous artisans continuing a long tradition of craftsmanship and creativity.
The best things aren't made in factories. And that's why many of our artisans also continue the tradition of home weaving - allowing them to determine their own hours, wages, and workload.
Trek Light's handwoven blankets are machine washable - wash cold on a delicate cycle and air dry or tumble low, without other items in the machine to avoid any potential damage.
For the safest and best care, the blankets can be dry cleaned - but we're also fans of Mitch Hedberg's take on dry cleaning: "This [blanket] is dry clean only, which means...it's dirty."
So go ahead - use it, wash it, love it - and your blanket will love you right back.
