"An optimist is someone who plants two acorns and buys a hammock" - Jean de Lattre de Tassigny
While you wait, we thought you'd want to know about this amazing thing.
When your backyard doesn't have the right set of trees or you want to enjoy your hammock indoors without risking any damage to your walls - this hammock stand is the answer.
An ideal solution to enjoy your hammock on your balcony, patio, or anywhere you need some hammock time, this length-adjustable hammock stand is perfect whether you're sleeping in your hammock full-time at home or just relaxing in the yard. It even disassembles and packs down so you can bring it to your next tailgate, car camping adventure, or beach party.
At 44lbs we don't recommend taking it backpacking, but hey - that's your call.
For best use with our hammocks, you'll need to use a set of ropes like our pre-knotted and adjustable Go Anywhere Ropes.
The hammock stand is designed to be a bit longer than our hammocks (and it can be extended even longer). This is intentional as it allows you to use adjustable ropes as an extension from each end to give your hammock the right amount of sag and get the perfect hang every time.
I am blessed with a very large yard, but the concentration of trees capable of handling hammocks are primarily along my property lines, and while I love my neighbors, I don't necessarily want to hang with them. This stand makes it easy to move my hammock to anywhere I choose to place it, shade, sun, pool side, where ever. The "Hang Calculator" made it easy to compute the right "sag" for my size.Easy to assemble with included tools and with the extendable base you can lengthen or shorten the stand to your particular preferences. Stand is not just heavy duty, but at 44 lbs, it is heavy and secure. I ordered two sets of the Go Anywhere Rope kits, one just for this stand and another for taking my hammock bikepacking.
Stand was easy to assemble in about 15 minutes. I'm using it as a full time bed and so far so good supporting my 300 lbs.
Easy length adjustment as well.
It's nice having somewhere to hang my hammock in my apartment since I can't do anything drastic to the infrastructure.
Have had this stand for several weeks now with regular use. Bought it for primarily indoor use at home and to take to relatives/friends for extended stays.
That said I have been sleeping lounging in it regularly.
Solid build quality.
Easy to assemble; only 6 bolts to tighten.
Adequate length when fully extended. I'm 6'2".
The only thing that initially gave me pause are the plastic hooks, but they have held strong. I'm 203lbs.
In conclusion I'll stand by this but I'd rather just hang with it.
It's nice on my back and also good to put my feet and knees up for awhile. Bought the stand and it's super easy to assemble and to put the hammock on with the carabiners each afternoon. Can't wait to take it camping for the first time this weekend.
