Trek Light hammock owner and fan Nate recently wrote to us to share his pictures and story of how the Bug Free Hammock Shield helped save his trip and keep him comfortable while hammock camping in the Boundary Waters area of Minnesota.
“Here’s a couple from my trip to the Boundary Waters in MN where the bug net is the only thing that saved my life. In the total silence of nature the falcon-sized mosquitoes sounded like 500 Indy cars racing inches from my head, each one more desperate than the last to suck any blood that may have been left in my poor body.
He also shared another photo from a recent trip to the Lost Creek Wilderness in our home state of Colorado, showing his hammock and V9 Strong Tarp put to great use.
Nate says, “Thanks for keeping me warm and dry and in touch with the real outside world.”
You’re very welcome Nate.
