I haven't had to deal with a skunk spray in a long time and never specifically with the hammock, so you may want to do some quick research and see if there's a product available that is designed to be easy on fabrics.&nbsp; I'll poke around myself and let you know if I come up with anything.&nbsp; Good luck, sounds like your buddy should now own the hammock and buy you a new one!<br>]]>

I've recently let my buddy borrow my hammock for weekend trip he went on. While on the trip, him and his dog took a nap, and consequently was severely sprayed by a skunk. The hammock, him and everything around was sufficiently skunktified. <br><br>My question is what is the best way to clean the hammock, and get rid of the smell? <br>]]>

I don't think it would provide that much shade. Once the rain fly comes out, you might have more success with that.&nbsp;]]>

After a while of trying different things, my Trek Light now happily lays under my lofted bed 24/7. Everyone who sees it is instantly in love with it. Makes for a great place to relax and do some light reading.<br>]]>
