Bindle Daypack
After some quick and questionable research, we've learned that it's currently illegal to marry your backpack in at least 45 states in the US.
Which is unfortunate, because you're gonna love this thing.

Day Hiking Sedona and love this little pack as held essential to insure a safe solo hike. As long as straps were tight the pack stayed on back well. Packs down super small if putting in a suitcase or larger pack. Worth the price!
This backpack was perfect for our trip to the national parks in Utah. It was light and held everything we needed for hiking. I highly recommend it!
I bought one of these 6 years ago and literally loved it to bits. So handy to have in your bags when travelling (especially if you prefer to go cabin baggage only) as an incredibly light and compact daypack you can use any time, without needing to unpack or reorganise your existing bags. I use mine when doing short hikes in hot places, when wandering around cities while travelling, and as a luggage expander if you've been shopping and are coming home with more than you set off with ;)
After 6 years my old one needed replacing, so I bought myself and my partner one each. This revised version seems to have stronger straps, which is a useful improvement. As such a tiny and lightweight design, it obviously does not have any padding, so you need to pack it with care if carrying hard or uncomfortable objects - it's not a substitute for a bespoke daypack for more serious hiking. But it does what it set out to do brilliantly.
Great design. Great quality. Great production. Great customer service. Just what our local organization would like to have associated with our own urban planning efforts. Even the person who did the custom (reflective thread) embroidery thought the backpack was great.
We are so fortunate that our residents' initiative, undependent Rock Island, came across your backpack. It has given us an opportunity to communicate to fellow residents a seriously good community design with seriously good application here in Rock Island (IL) that includes some seriously healthy fun. And it starts when they ask us, "Where'd you get that backpack."
