The Compact Hammock is one foot shorter than our flagship Single and Double Hammocks. By shortening the length slightly we were able to reduce the weight and pack size of the hammock significantly to give you one of the lightest, strongest and most compact hammocks you'll find anywhere.

At just over 9' long and 5' wide (same width as the Single), the Compact Hammock is still plenty big enough for an adult to sleep in or relax comfortably on the go. The smaller size also makes this a great hammock for younger kids to grow into.

The Compact weighs less than one pound (!) at only 14oz (even less if you swap out the included S-Hooks for our ultralight carabiners) and still holds up to 400lbs.

Our Double Hammock has long been a fan favorite for the sheer amount of space and comfort it provides, but when you're looking for the absolute lightest and most compact hammock solution without sacrificing the blissful comfort you've come to expect from Trek Light Gear - this is the hammock you've been looking for.

Review Text: I'm a professional hunting guide, and used this hammock while hunting elk in the gila national forest. It worked great. Weighs about as much as a 16.9oz bottle of water.

Review Text: i bought two of these compact hammocks for a hike in late September and was very pleased with the product as a whole. i am a big guy, 6'3" 230lb, so generally when i hear "compact" and "lightweight" i have my doubts, but the hammock was large enough and strong enough for me to sleep in comfortably, no catastrophic failures or sleeping on the ground for this guy! the parachute nylon is very light and strong, i was impressed with the build quality, and having the stuff sack as an actual part of th...
