1.) The mosquito netting is a long tube. Begin by loosening the drawstrings on each end, feed the hammock through the tube and then attach the hammock to the tree like you normally would. When you're done, just use the drawstring to close the netting at each end and your hammock is completely protected on all sides.
2.) The Bug Free Hammock Shield also comes with a piece of cord that functions as a ridgeline - just use the easy clip system to attach it from tree to tree above the hammock:
- There is a clip on each end of the ridgeline - one clip is fixed and the other is adjustable so you can lengthen or shorten the drawstring.
- Start the fixed end and wrap the cord around the tree and clip it back onto itself to secure.
- Do the same with the other end and then use the toggle to tighten the cord until it's taut
3.) You'll notice that the top of the netting has clips attached to it, just clip the netting to the ridgeline to keep it elevated.
4.) That's it! Unzip the easy access zipper, climb in the hammock and zip it back up for an entirely bug free hammock experience!
