Measuring in at 6 and a half feet wide and 10 feet long, the Trek Light Double Hammock gives you all the extra width you need, allowing you to really stretch out. Many people prefer to lay horizontally or diagonally across a hammock and the Double truly allows you the room to do so. Use the extra room to wrap yourself up on a cold night, or just to lay next to someone special - it's up to you! The hammock conforms to your body so you won't be swallowed up if you're using it alone, but there's always plenty of room for two.

The Double hammock holds up to 400lbs and only weighs slightly over a pound (20oz) in the pouch. When packed, it's scarcely bigger or heavier than the Single hammock and provides you with the extra room you're looking for.

Review Text: The double hammock's extra fabric is great for backpacking- all the space meant I could keep my pack with me in the hammock, with still enough fabric to completely cover myself(since I don't yet have a tarp). Lighter than most any tent (or bivy sack!) and more comfortable than sleeping on the ground. I have also used it in a semi-permanent setup in a friend's basement, where it's great for watching movies or taking a nap (much better than their old couch).

Review Text: Just got my double hammock, with the rope and carabiner bundle in the mail, and went on a long up hill hike, and lucky me there was a big beautiful tree with long low branches set up the hammock(which was ridiculously easy) the minute i laid down i was out cold best nap i have had in a long time, my conclusion money very well spent.

Review Text: As I found some of the other reviews lacking in depth, or even a timeline of use, I will be posting every time I use my double hammock. The product: You have probably read that the double hammock weighs in at just 20 oz. What you might not have read is that the little bag it comes in is about the size of a small bag of potato chips. You probably also did not read that cramming the thing back into the bag is so easy a child could do it. The bag is attached to the hammock, so once you have it set ...
